Memari College was established in the year 1981. It is one of the top reputed college, situated in Burdwan district in West Bengal, India. It is a Government aided college affiliated with the University of Burdwan and accredited with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is registered in University Grant Commission (UGC) under the Act 2(f) & 12 (B). Currently, the college is spread over eleven acres covering state-of-the-art arrangement for making a rich academic atmosphere. Memari College has its own playground with all the equipment. The college offers three years regular Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) programs in various specializations including Bengali, History, English, Political Science, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Geography, Music, Journalism & Mass Communication, Education, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Botany, Mathematics, Computer Science and Nutrition. It also provides some professional courses in Mobile repairing, Excel datasheet making, Entrepreneurial development, Agro-mechanical instrument repairing etc. Around 21 full-time and 36 contractual and guest lecturers are working with the college.
